The SV Germania 90 Fine Oak is a Brandenburg sports club from Schoneiche, its first football team is playing in the Brandenburg league after the voluntary withdrawal from the Oberliga Nordost.

History

Development in the GDR football

The first precursor of SV Germania 90 Schoeneiche was founded in 1894 under the name MTV Germania 1894 Kleinschönberg Beck- Nice oak. First sports ground was a potato field, together with a clay pit, were set up in the gymnastics equipment.

After the Second World War, based in the beautiful oak SG Schoeneiche. As is common in other places and cities of the GDR, the club name changed after quite frequently. After being renamed successively in BSG locomotive Schoeneiche, BSG Motor Friedrich Hagen ( 1954) and BSG Motor Ostend (1956 ), one was in 1957 merged with another company sports teams to TSC Oberschoeneweide, in which up to 1958 as TSC Oberschoeneweide / Ostend or TSC Oberschoeneweide IV played. Then you appeared as BSG Empor Köpenick ( until 1963 ), TSG and BSG Schoeneiche ZBE farming Schoeneiche (until the end of the GDR ) on. Greater success had only in the field of athletics, there also usually only at the district level. Successful section was achieved, the section badminton, after all, the 1971/1972 played in the DDR -Liga and with Jörg -Detlef Wohler a third place in the men's doubles at the GDR youth championships (AK 17/18) 1972. The football department played in the GDR football no higher class role, only in 1956 took part in the engine Friedrich Hagen fdgb Cup in which it was lost in the first qualifying round against construction Ruedersdorf with 1:6. 1978 rose farming Schoeneiche together with construction Klosterfelde first time in the third-class district league Frankfurt, which was held after the reduction from two to one season, for the time being until 1983. 1989, followed again to return to the top division of the district in which Schoeneiche remained until the dissolution in 1991.

Development in the overall German football

After the fall of the club was re-established and is now called SV Germania 90 Beautiful oak. Furthermore, one has experienced quite a big success in athletics at the state level. But since the mid-1990s, the football department became increasingly successful. 1999, the rise was celebrated in the regional league under coach Frank Terletzki and after 2000 it failed several times just barely on promotion to the Oberliga.

His greatest success up to that point you could celebrate in 2004 under coach Jürgen Piepenburg on home turf by winning the National Cup Brandenburg, who also entitled to participate in the DFB Cup in season 2004/ 05. It failed just wide of the second division club TSV 1860 München 1:2. The game was played in the stadium at the old forester from 1 FC Union Berlin as their own football pitch, the Friedrich -Ludwig- Jahn-Stadion would not have sufficed with 2000 standing places the claims. Nevertheless, the National Cup finals in 2002 there was already hosted by the National Association Football Brandenburg.

The National Cup victory was surpassed in the season 2005/ 06, as Germania under coach Jens Härtel promotion to the Oberliga. It was able to prevail against the eternal rival SV Altlüdersdorf by three points. Since their joint promotion to the fifth division of the rise of both clubs was almost synchronously. Last season both teams finished almost the entire season, the first two places. Altlüdersdorf had almost held the top position throughout the season, but was supplanted by the beautiful Eichern few games to go from first place. Beautiful oak could be bigger names such as optics Rathenow, Black-Red Neustadt / Dosse, Frankfurter FC Viktoria, FSV 63 Luckenwalde, EFC Stahl, Union Fiirstenwalde and FC Stahl Brandenburg behind. This success was mainly possible because sponsors funded Foreign players and coaches. Player 's own youth departments, however, saw no future in the club and migrated to the clubs of the surrounding communities ( Ruedersdorf, heart field, Wolter village, Erkner, New Hagen) or hired at recreational teams ( eg feet of God or SPM Schoeneiche in the Union League ) of.

In his first Serie A winter break the club's history in the 2006/07 season Germania Beautiful oak finished a respectable 13th place, ahead of such a prestigious club like the former East German record champions BFC Dynamo. The Schöneicher team made it the curiosity, with only six goals scored to reach 14 points. This was due to the strong defensive performance and nearly faultless back line to the veterans Ronny Huppert and Tom Persich and goalkeeper Thoralf stone especially. Already on the 29th and penultimate round so beautiful oak celebrated the league despite losing. The club was thus at the end of tenth after Energie Cottbus in the Bundesliga 1 and the clubs SV Babelsberg 03 and Ludwigsfelder FC fourth best club of Brandenburg in the season 2006/07. In the season 2006/07 SV Germania 90 Schoeneiche played 14 times in a draw in 30 meetings, were added and a goal difference of 17:27 seven wins and nine defeats.

The second league season were similar. Since quite quickly relegated from the league was made by the retreat of SV Yeşilyurt Berlin and there were no more relegated due to the league reform in 2008, Schoeneiche played carefree and without any pressure. Under the new coach Meik Gottschalk the defense was not quite so sure, despite the veterans Huppert and Persich. 52 goals were conceded, but achieved with 26 more. With seven wins and 13 defeats in 28 games the team won 29 points and finished with a rank eleven one position worse place.

New coach for season 2008/ 09 was Dirk Berger, who was coach of A-Juniors Union Berlin by then. With it, multiple talents of the team changed after Schoeneiche. In addition, the former Bundesliga player Steffen Baumgart came into the club, which, however, denied only a limited number of games. Meik Gottschalk joined by the head coach to assistant coach items. With an insurance company from Cottbus addition, a new main sponsor for two years was found. The sponsorship contribution is estimated to be a six-figure sum. The season was difficult for Germania. You stand after the 15 games of the first round to sixth place with 23 points, the second half was weak. The club got only 14 points and finished second in the table the last non- relegation zone, the one secured on the final day with a victory at already relegated BFC Preussen. Also problematic was the high power density in the league, Schoeneiche escaped relegation only slightly, although 37 points were won in 30 matches, eleven wins only 15 defeats over and a goal difference of -5 was achieved. In the National Cup they reached the final against third division SV Babelsberg 03, it was again carried out in the domestic Jahn Stadium and lost 0-1.

Although the 2009/10 season was less successful at first and for a long time was associated with the relegation battle, beautiful oak reached at the end of the season after a successful final sprint to the ninth place to be so far the best league result. Among other things, the ten -time East German champion and runner- Season BFC Dynamo was hit on the native place of 3:1. The hope of reaching the National Cup finals again, was not fulfilled, the Germans defeated in the quarterfinals of the many players in the first team, which was already eliminated from the competition, strengthen the representation of the SV Babelsberg 03 In the 2010/11 season finished Germania in the league in eleventh place in the table. After the club was ranked much of the season near the relegation places, he was allowed to settle at the end of the season after a good phase and ultimately occupy a secure place in the lower middle.

For the best season in club history for Germania 90, the 2011/12 season, although after the departures of Tom Persich and Marco Gebhardt first time in years aside from substitute goalkeeper Michael Hinz and Christian Siemund, both of which came in the 3rd league to use, no former German professionals in the squad stood. Firstly, the club continued its strategy to increasingly integrate young players from the Berlin area. In addition, but also enhanced foreign players were brought into the team. So came from the Czech Gambrinus League Miloslav Kousal and the UEFA Cup experienced Michal Dolezal, also the Cameroonian Richard Bohomo Etiege who could collect Erstligaerfahrungen already in Belarus. From the outset, the team held connection to the top of the group to which they during the season lost only gradually the contact. Despite the good season of striving for promotion to the Regionalliga one rank could not be realized. For 2011/ 12, the Germania moved due to financial requirements voluntarily from the Oberliga Nordost back, new league is the Brandenburg League. The second team was under their player-coach Persich, first create the rise in the national league. Due to the withdrawal of the first team the second the rise but not perceive, compete in the future but as of the first team squad. During the winter break of the season 2011/12, Bastian Hohmann switched to CD Feirense in the Primeira Liga. Hohmann is the first football player who went from beautiful oak coming in the professional sector. Half a year later, the American Jacob Wilson was obliged by CD Feirense.

Since 2006, the club also has a women's team.
