History

The club was founded on March 24, 1919 under the name VfB Völklingen (from August 1919 SV Völklingen 06) established as a successor organization of the resulting on April 26, 1906 1912 also SV Völklingen 06 named and 1916 by Association of exclusion resolved FC Völklingen 06. 1945 had to be like all German clubs redissolved the club, but was re-established immediately as games and sports community Völklingen.
