The SV Türk Gücü Munich was a football club based in Munich.

History

Türk Gücü [ Turkish for (Turkish ) power / force ] Munich was founded around 1972 by a group of Turkish migrants to Alaattin Candar and Ömer Ilciktay. After a start under financial and human difficulties, however, was in 1975 after a change of president financial support can be obtained. Volleyball

1987/88 there were also league volleyball at Türk Gücü. The women with the internationals Danuta Niemietz, Nina Sawatzki and Michaela Luckner 1988 occupied third place in the Bundesliga 1. The men around national team setter Gabor Csontos took over the place from the Bundesliga TSV Ottobrunn and managed to avoid relegation. A season later pulled one back from the volleyball back.
