Svärtinge

Svärtinge is a locality ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Östergötland County and the historic province of Östergötland. The town is located 10 km north-west of Norrköping on Riksväg 51 on the north side of the lake Glan. He has about 2500 inhabitants.

Initially, the settlement of cottages called Sommarstugor, today there are mostly ordinary houses that are inhabited year-round. As part of the new settlements a bypass for the original leading through the village Riksväg 51 was built, the opening of the new route took place on 7 December 2007.

The recreational value is determined by the amount of forest lakes to be very high, they are suitable for swimming and fishing, including for the latter one Fiskekort ( fishing license ) must be purchased.
