Sven Bärtschi
Sven Baertschi (born 5 October 1992 in Langenthal ) is a Swiss ice hockey player in the position of left winger who stands since July 2011 with the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League under contract and plays in parallel with the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Career
Baertschi ventured to North America in 2010 with the signing of a contract with the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Hockey League, after he had been elected in seventh place in the CHL Import Draft the same year. In his first season in North America Baertschi was successful, he scored 34 goals, prepared 51 before and came at the end of the 2010/ 11 to a total score of 85 His point yield was among the WHL rookies the best, giving him a nomination for the best Neuprofi the WHL as well as the award for the best rookie of the Western Conference earned. In the ensuing playoffs, the striker again showed a good performance, because he steered with his ten goals and 17 assists in 21 games much offensive power for the Winter Hawks at. Baertschi participated as one of four Winter Hawks at the CHL Top Prospects Game and ran for the team Orr. In the NHL Entry Draft 2011 Baertschi was selected by the Calgary Flames in 13th place.
On July 5, 2011 Baertschi signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Calgary Flames, which is active only with the final change to the franchise. The 2011/12 season spent the striker remains concentrated with the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Hockey League, but debuted in the course of the season, on 9 March 2012 for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League.
