Sven Kubis

Sven Kubis (* May 29, 1975 in Altdöbern ) is a German football player.

Career

The trained striker Kubis began his football career at Cottbus locomotive and got there his nickname ' The Penguin '. After three years in the Northeast Regional and the rise in the 2nd Bundesliga with Energie Cottbus, he moved in 1997 to FC Erzgebirge Aue. There, however, he could not prevail, and so Kubis came for a year back to the second team of energy. After he had in the meantime also worked zoom back to the first team, he came on 18 December 1998 against Tennis Borussia Berlin to use one in the 2nd Bundesliga. In the same season, the striker was also top scorer in the league team with 22 goals. After each half a year in Altmark Stendal and VfL Halle 1896 Kubis 2000 came a third time back to Energie Cottbus.

In 2002, he decided to take a change in the Regionalliga Nord for Dresdner SC. There, he scored six goals in 28. He then played two years for the FC Upper Lusatia Neugersdorf. In July 2005, Kubis finally came to 1.FC Magdeburg and was instrumental in the promotion to the Regionalliga. For the 2007 /08 season he was awarded a new contract at the 1 FC Magdeburg and moved to VFC Plauen. After only one year at the VFC Plauen he went to the 2008/09 season in the national league Saxony for SV unit Kamenz and managed with this in the league. Then in 2009 he moved to SG blue-yellow foliage village, with whom he played three years in the Brandenburg- League. In the season 2010/11 Kubis was charged with 32 -goal top scorer of Brandenburg- League. In 2012 they managed a master promotion to the Oberliga.
