Sven Meyer (figure skater)

Sven Meyer ( born July 15, 1977 in Berlin, † 6 May 1999 ) was a German figure skater, who started in a single run.

Sven Meyer began at the age of five years with the figure skating. His trainer was Viola Striegler and his longtime choreographer was the former television ballet dancer Andreas Düpetell. Meyer started for the TSC Berlin and belonged to sports Promotion Group of the Berlin police.

Sven Meyer in 1998 surprisingly German before the favored Andrejs Vlascenko figure skating champion of Lords. He qualified for the European Championship and the World Cup. There, he finished 19th, and 23rd place. In training, Meyer had already been a quadruple toe loop and a quadruple Salchow.

On 6 May 1999 Sven Meyer committed suicide.
