Sven Regener

Sven Regener ( born January 1, 1961 in Bremen ) is a German musician, author and screenwriter. He became known first by the band Element of Crime, and later with his novel Mr. Lehmann and the screenplay for the film of the same name, as well as with the other two novels of the trilogy Lehmann, New South Vahr and little brother.

Life

Regener grew up in the New Vahr and Blockdiek in Bremen. After graduation, he began a study of music in Hamburg and Berlin, he broke off later. Since 1971 he plays classical guitar, trumpet since 1976, since 1985 piano and electric guitar. Having been in the Communist League West Germany ( KBW ) had " ensemble experiences " collected in a marching band, he took his first 1982 LP with the band Zatopek on. In 1984 he joined the band New love - a further radio - punk band. In 1985, he finally founded in Berlin Element of Crime, in which he sings and plays guitar and trumpet; for this band he wrote since then almost all the lyrics.

In 2004 he published his second novel, New South Vahr, a prequel to Mr. Lehmann, in the Lehmann's life is told in 1980 in Bremen and in the army.
