Svenn Stray

Svenn Thorkild Stray ( born February 11, 1922 in Arendal, † 20 May 2012) was a Norwegian conservative politician ( Høyre ).

He was a member of the Norwegian Parliament in 1950 and was Chairman of the Conservative parliamentary party from 1965 to 1970 and Royal Norwegian Foreign Minister from 1970 to 1971, Vice- President of the Parliament from 1973 to 1981 and again from 1981 to 1986 Norwegian foreign minister. Since 1985 he was no longer represented in parliament.
