Svépravice

Svépravice ( German Siprawetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north of Pelhřimov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Svépravice is on the left above the valley of Hejlovka in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. Northeast of the dam Sedlice, in which the Hejlovka with the Jankovský Potok is united to Želivka. To the north- west is the dam Trnavka. To the north rises the Strážník (551 m ) southwest of the Straz (559 m ) west of the Vrchy (547 m) and in the northwest the Hůra (526 m).

Neighboring towns are Mokřiny, Haštal and Kolčavka in the north, Sedlice in the northeast, Břečovský Mlýn, Milotice and Vadčice in the east, Dehtáře, U Šlejferků, Prokopův Mlýn and Kojčice the southeast, Prasátka and Pobistrýce in the south, Těchorázek, Těchoraz, Bácovice and Tři Králové in southwest, Zmišovice and Popelištná in the west and Brtná in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1360. Since 1379 carpenters are detectable in Svépravice. The Castle Rooms husband Jan had at that time three Freienhufen country. The place was called up to the 20th century as Sýpravice or Sejpravice.

After the replacement of patrimonial Sýpravice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Pelhřimov. School location was Želiv to 1873, then was in Sýpravice of instruction at different places. The village consisted of 21 houses in 1900 and had 232 Czech citizens. In 1912 was built to plans by architect Antonín Schreyer from Pelhřimov own a school building. Between 1921 and 1927, at the confluence of Hejlovka and Jankovský Potok of the construction of the dam Sedlice. Since 1923, the church is called Svépravice. In the 1970s, the instruction set in Svépravice. From 1977 to 1981, the dam was built Trnavka. Between 1980 and 1990 the village was incorporated to Pelhřimov.
