Sviatlana Vusovich

Swjatlana Ussowitsch (English transcription Sviatlana Usovich; born 14 October 1980) is a Belarusian sprinter and middle distance runner.

Initially she specialized in the 400 -meter run. She celebrated her first success at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna in 2002, where she won the gold medal. At the European Championships in Munich in 2002 she reached the seventh place half a year later. A year later at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, she was sixth. At the World Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis separated them as well as the semi-finals at the 2004 World Indoor Championships in Budapest and the Olympic Games in Athens. In the 4 x 400 meters relay she left with the Belarusian team in the lead. At the European Indoor Championships in Madrid in 2005, she won the silver medal. She then moved to the 800 -meter distance and immediately reached at the World Championships in Helsinki the semifinals. Two years later at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka she reached the sixth place in the final. In 2008 she won at the World Indoor Championships in Valencia silver with the Belarusian relay. At the Olympic Games in Beijing, she reached the semi-finals and was awarded the Belarusian Quartet fourth in the 4 x 400 - meter relay.

At the European Championships 2010 in Barcelona and the 2011 World Championships in Daegu she left in the flow.
