Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

Sviatoslav Mychajljuk (Ukrainian Святослав Михайлюк, English Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk; born June 10, 1997) is a Ukrainian basketball player. He is 198 cm tall and plays at the position of shooting guard. He currently stands at BK Cherkassky Mawpy from the Ukrainian Basketball Super League under contract.

He is rumored that he was one of the greatest European basketball talent for a long time together with Dario Šarić.

Career

Mychajljuk is a solid player who brings a mix of athleticism, skill, technology and flair for the game, the player with a European, resp. a player of his age is very rare to see. It can in principle be used in all positions, and is compared with the NBA player Emanuel Ginóbili.

In summer 2012 he played with the Ukrainian U16 national team at the U16 European Championship. He was appointed to the all-star team after he had played an excellent tournament: an average of 25.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
