Swedish Standards Institute

Swedish Standards Institute, SIS is one of three Swedish standardization bodies. It is a member of the international standards organizations ISO and CEN and acts on behalf of the Swedish Standards Council ( Sveriges standardiseringsråd SSR).

The Institute is a nonprofit organization with approximately 1,450 members (companies and organizations) and a turnover of approximately SEK 200 million (~ 22 million euros ). It has two subsidiaries, SIS Förlag AB, the information on standards published and sold, and the SIS Forum AB, a training and consulting in the area offering standardization.
