Swędrówka
Swędrówka ( German Zander village) is a small village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and is part of the gmina (Town ) Bisztynek ( Bischofstein ) in Bartoszycki powiat ( county Bartoszyce ( Bartenstein ) ).
Geographical location
Swędrówka located 25 kilometers north-west of the former county town Ketrzyn ( Rastenburg ) and 29 kilometers southeast of the present-day county metropolis Bartoszyce ( Bartenstein ) on a side road that leads from the province road 592 near Łankiejmy (long- Mannheim) to Grzęda ( storm Karpacz ) and continue to Reszel ( Rößel ) runs. The nearest train station is Łankiejmy at the PKP railway line No. 353 (now Polish: Poznań) of poses over Olsztyn ( Olsztyn ) to Korsze ( Korschen ) and leads up to the year 2000 in the Russian Schelesnodoroschny ( Gerdauen ) ended.
History
The once Zander village called rural municipality was formed in 1874 along with six other rural communities and a Gutsbezirk the newly established District Long Home (now Polish: Łankiejmy ), who belonged to the district Rastenburg in the district of Königsberg of the Prussian province of East Prussia until 1945.

As a result of the Second World War came Zander village of the southern East Prussia to Poland and was renamed " Swędrówka ".
