Sydney Youngblood

Sydney Youngblood ( born December 2, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas, as Sydney, England) is an American soul singer in the late 1980s and early 1990s was able to celebrate successes in the international charts. His Indian grandmother gave him as an infant, the term " Young Blood ", which he has since been used as a pseudonym.

Career

At the age of six years won Sydney in San Antonio a talent competition, and was enthusiastic about so early for the music. With 20 years of the artist came to Mannheim in Germany, where he performed his military service in the U.S. Army and later stayed. Here he founded together with other musicians is an R & B band that gained notoriety in the Rhine -Neckar area, so that was him in the late 1980s offered a recording contract as a solo artist. His 1989 debut album, released in the UK Feeling Free earned him the international breakthrough and the associated reputation. After more than five million albums sold Youngblood went back in 1997 in the United States since his brother died there. More recently, he frequently occurs with the blues guitarist and singer Jim Kahr in Germany, as well as a singer and performer at various events.
