Syfy Universal (Germany)

Syfy (until 20 September 2010: SciFi ) is a German television station, the mystery, fantasy, science fiction movies and TV shows as well as action and horror movies radiates. The underlying original format is the U.S. transmitter Syfy.

The station is operated by Universal Networks International, until 2010 NBC Universal Global Networks Germany, headquartered in Munich, a subsidiary of NBC Universal. Send start of SciFi: September 1st, 2003.

Reception

Syfy is to receive digital cable television and satellite as part of the pay-TV channel packages from Sky Germany, cable Germany, Kabel BW, Eutelsat cable stand, primacom, wilhelm.tel and Unity Media. He is also in the Paid IPTV packages " Entertain Comfort Plus" T-Home " movie package" of Vodafone and " Big Entertainment " ALICE HanseNet included.

Syfy HD

Since November 2010, the channel can be received at the Swiss cable operator Cablecom GmbH, and since 9 November, with cable Germany in the simulcast HD version. For the 1st December, the reception of Syfy HD KabelBW was announced. Since 17 January 2013, the HD version is broadcast on Sky (previously only via satellite ).
