Sylwia Ejdys

Sylwia Ejdys ( born July 15, 1984 in Bogatynia ) is a Polish middle distance runner who specializes in the 1500 meters distance.

In 2007 she won the European Cup in Athletics and at the Military World Games and won bronze medal at the Universiade.

The following year, she was disqualified at the Olympics in Beijing in the run- off and finished seventh at the IAAF World Athletics Final. At the World Championships in Berlin in 2009, she reached the semi-finals.

In 2010 she finished fourth at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and Twelfth at the European Championships in Barcelona.

Until now, it was five times national champion in the 1500 meters ( 2006 to 2010 ). In the hall they won the 2009 title in the 800 meters and 2010 over 3000 meters.

Sylwia Ejdys is coached by Marek Adamek and starts WKS Slask Wroclaw for the club.
