About the Music
Instrumentation: two oboes, two horns in E flat and B, two violins, viola, cello, double bass. (If available in the orchestra ) were to reinforce the bass voice then even without separate listing bassoon and harpsichord used, which consist different views on involvement of the harpsichord in the literature. Performance time: about 9-10 minutes.
1st movement: Allegro con brio

2nd movement: Adagietto
B flat major, 3/4-time, 44 cycles Simple two-part form, with low notes in the trumpets.
3rd movement: Finale - fugal. allegro
E-flat major, 2/2-Takt, 182 cycles, mixture of fugue and sonata form earlier: fugal The unison main motive of the movement is based on the main theme of the first movement.
