Synetic - The Funfactory is a German software development company with headquarters in Gütersloh.

History

The company was founded in 1996 by five former members of Ascaron a development studio for computer games and specialized in racing games. This team has been expanded to three members later. The name " Synetic " is derived from "synergy" and symbolizes the importance of the team spirit of the developers. The first release was in 1997 with Have a NICE day!. Between 2006 and 2012 the developer released on the German publisher dtp entertainment six games for TV series Alarm for Cobra 11, April 1, 2014, the team moved back completely from the computer game industry in order to devote himself exclusively future industrial applications. The nickname "The Funfactory " was also abolished.
