T-ara

T -ara ( 티아라 Kor.; IPA [t ʰ iara ] ) is a South Korean girl group founded by Mnet Media in 2009. Previously, some band members participated in movies, TV series and music videos.

History

In April 2009, this time five girls released their first song " 좋은 사람 " ( " Joeun Saram " ) for the soundtrack of the Korean soap opera Cinderella Man. In June 2009, leaving Yang Ji-won and bandleader Lee Ji- ae the group. The following month, Boram, Soyeon and Qri were members of the group and Eunjung became the new leader. On 9 July 2009 it was announced that the band will henceforth be managed by Mnet Media's subsidiary Core Contents Media. In addition, the group released on 27 July 2009 the debut single " 거짓말 " ( " Geojitmal "). The single contains a total of four songs and reached number five of South Korea's GAON Music Charts.

Debut

Officially debuted T -ara on 29 July 2009 in Variety show MBC Radio Star of the transmitter. In the program also celebrated the music video to " Geojitmal " premiere. On the music portal GOM TV, the 15 version of " Bo Peep Bo Peep " promptly reached the top spot of the most popular music videos of the day. The 19 version came in at number 4 while " Cheoeum Cheoreom " in second place ranked. On December 2, the result of the vote was announced and " Cheoeum Cheoreom " won with 53% of votes cast. On 4 December 2009 T- ara released first album with 14 songs and physically.

End of 2009, T -ara won with the band 4minute Newcomer Award at the Golden Disk Awards. The successful series of T -ara has been continued in 2010. Already on 1 January 2010 were given T -ara in the KBS music show Music Bank for " Bo Peep Bo Peep " the " Mutizen " presented that characterizes the best appearance of the shipment. The album reached second place in the GAON Music Chart. The song " Neo Ttaemune Micheo " ranked two weeks at the top of the GAON singles chart.

On July 16, 2010 it was announced that Ryu Hwa -young is the seventh member of T -ara. In addition, Boram is now taking over the role of bandleader.
