T. Clark Hull

Treat Clark Hull ( born June 14, 1921 in Danbury, Connecticut, † July 25, 1996 ) was an American lawyer and politician. Between 1971 and 1973 he was vice- governor of Connecticut.

Career

Clark Hull graduated from the Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire and then studied until 1942 at Yale University. He then took 1942-1946 as a soldier in the Air Corps of the U.S. forces in the Second World War. After studying law at Harvard University and his 1948 was admitted to the bar he began to work in Danbury in this profession. Politically, he joined the Republican Party. Between 1963 and 1971 he was a member of the Senate of Connecticut.

1970 Hull was elected to the side of Thomas Joseph Meskill for Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut. This post he held 1971-1973. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. In 1973 he became a judge at the Superior Court of his state. Then he had to give up the office of Lieutenant Governor, the now fell to Peter L. Cashman. In the following years, he held various posts for judges in Connecticut. Since 1987 he worked at the local Supreme Court also as a judge. In 1991 he had to give up due to age this post. After that, he was still as a state conciliator (State referee ) in civil proceedings operate. Clark Hull died on 25 July 1996 in Danbury.
