T. Franklin Ahearn

Thomas Franklin Ahearn ( born May 10, 1886 in Ottawa, Ontario, † November 17, 1962 ) was the owner of the Ottawa Senators, an ice hockey team in the National Hockey League.

After serving in the First World War, he began to be interested in the Amateur Hockey. Very quickly he realized that professional hockey his hometown would give a new face. His father Thomas Ahearn was a key figure in the city of Ottawa, when he accompanied them in the 19th century on their way to the big city.

During his leadership, the Senators won the Stanley Cup four times.

1962 Frank Ahearn was honored with induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
