Taça de Portugal

The Portuguese Football Cup Taça de Portugal is a full registered since 1938 football cup competition for Portuguese club teams. History

In 1921 the Federação Portuguesa de Futebol laid down the foundation for an official national football competition. Under the name Campeonato de Portugal (German: Portuguese Championship) the Portuguese champions in the knock-out system has been played of the season 1921/22, bis 1937/38. About the Regional Championships, the team qualified for the competition.
