Taça Guanabara

The Taça Guanabara is a trophy for the football half- time championship every year, held by the Football Association of the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro state championship.

The Taça Guanabara was launched in 1965 to determine the representatives of the state of Guanabara which takes part in the games at the Taça Brasil, the first national Fußballwetbewerbes of Brazil. 1972, after the federal states Guanabara and Rio de Janeiro were combined, the Taça Guanabara was maintained in its present form.
