Tacitus (crater)

Tacitus is an impact crater on the Moon's front west of the Mare Nectaris, east of the crater Almanon and südöstliuch of Abulfeda. The rim is moderately eroded, the crater floor is uneven with concentric structures.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Roman historian Tacitus.
