Tacquet (crater)

Tacquet is an impact crater on the lunar front side in the plane of the Mare Serenitatis, east of the crater Menelaus and west of Pliny, at the eastern end of the groove system of Rimae Menelaus. The crater is cup-shaped and hardly eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the Flemish mathematician André Tacquet.
