Tactile illusion

A haptic illusion is a perception illusion of touch.

Known haptic illusions are:

• Charpentiersche deception: Sizes - weight illusion
• Pinocchio Illusion: muscle irritation due to vibrations
• Aristotelian deception: Two crossed fingers rub along the nasal dorsum.
