Tadas Ivanauskas Zoological Museum

Tadas - Ivanauskas - Zoomuseum Kaunas ( Kauno Tado Ivanausko zoologijos muziejus, T. Ivanausko zoologijos muziejus ) is a Zoological Museum in Kaunas, Laisvės al -Str. 106 It was founded in 1919 on the initiative of Tadas Ivanauskas ( 1882-1970 ). There are 15,000 exhibits in the exhibition and 200,000 in scientific fundus. The exhibition comprises seven halls ( 2488 m²). Since 1994, the museum is subordinate to the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania. There are 79 employees.
