Tadashi Abe

Tadashi Abe (Japanese阿 部 正, Tadashi Abe, born 1926; † 23 November 1984) was a Japanese aikido instructor who lived from 1952 to 1960 in France and taught. He is one of the first teachers who brought Aikido to Europe.

He was a direct student of Ueshiba Morihei's the second generation. One of his students was Nocquet André, a French 5th Dan in Judo ( student of Mikinosuke Kawaishi ).

By Abe's letter of recommendation, it was possible that Nocquet could learn from Ueshiba Morihei, although this had major concerns, foreigners to teach Aikido. As of July 1955 Nocquet could learn as Uchi - deshi in Tokyo; He left Japan in December 1957 as a 4th Dan Aikido.
