Tadeusz Åšlusarski

Tadeusz Ślusarski ( born May 19, 1950 in Zary, Poland, † August 17, 1998 at Ostromice north of Przybiernow, West Pomerania ) was a Polish athlete.

Ślusarski was with his countryman Władysław Kozakiewicz 's best pole vaulter in the 1970s and early 1980s. At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he won the gold medal. Kozakiewicz was estimated as silver medalist at the previous European Championships indeed higher, but an injury made ​​sure that this was only eleventh. In 1980 it came at the Olympic Games in Moscow to a legendary triple duel between Ślusarski, Kozakiewicz and Soviet athletes Konstantin Volkov.
