Tafsir Malick Ndiaye

Tafsir Malick Ndiaye ( born February 7, 1953 in Kaolack, Senegal ) is a Senegalese lawyer and judge of the International Tribunal.

Life

Ndiaye graduated as part of his law studies in 1979 for an internship at the United Nations before he acquired in 1980 as top of his class graduated from the Institute of Graduate International Studies in Paris. This is followed by a postgraduate course with specialization in international law followed, the Ndiaye also graduated as valedictorian in 1980. After a stay at the Hague Academy of International Law in 1981, he earned his doctorate in 1984 magna cum laude a doctorate in law.

From 1984 to 1985 he worked at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. In the case of Maritime Delimitation in between Guinea- Bissau and Senegal (Guinea -Bissau v. Senegal) took Ndiaye 1985 Senegal before the International Court of Justice, where he was later ( 1989-1991) also worked as a judge. 1991 Ndiaye was also Rapporteur of the Commission on the reform of the Senegalese electoral law.

  • Support of the Senegalese Ordre national du Mérite in 1998
