Tagesschau24 is a German digital TV station ARD, which will be broadcast as part of the bouquet ARD Digital. The focus of tagesschau24 is on the broadcasting of news and current affairs programs, reports, documentaries and talk shows. The leadership of tagesschau24 within the ARD is the Norddeutscher Rundfunk, in which the newsroom is ARD-aktuell settled. From 1997 to 30 April 2012, the station was named EinsExtra.

General

Tagesschau24 is the information program within the family of channels ARD and is in competition with the private news channels N24 and n-tv. The messages produced by ARD -aktuell in Hamburg are Monday to Friday sent through 9-20 clock, weekends 12-18 clock. The messages are divided into 15 - hour news blocks. History

The digital sender ARD launched on 30 August 1997 under the name EinsExtra. EinsExtra was intended as information program. Program
