The Tagil (Russian Тагил, Mansi много воды, literally meaning " much water ") is a 414 km long right tributary of Tura in Siberia (Russia, Asia).

Course

The Tagil rises on the eastern slope of the Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast in the southwest, about 50 km north- west of the regional capital Yekaterinburg. From there it flows north through a forested mountain landscape. After a few kilometers it reaches Werchni Tagil, where he became 2.6 km ² Werchnetagilskoje wodochranilischtsche (Russian Верхнетагильское Водохранилище, also Верхнетагильский пруд ( Werchnetagilski Prud, Werchnetagilsker pond ) ) is dammed, which serves the fishing industry.
