Tagwana, also Tagbana or Tagouana, is the main language of the department Katiola Ivory Coast ( Côte d' Ivoire) in the region of Vallée du Bandama.

It belongs with its ten dialects Tagwana - Djimini group of southern Senufo languages.

The number of speakers are Katia C. Kamara 1988 to 50,000, Ethnologue lists 138,100 speakers with stand 1993.
