Taha Abdurrahman

Taha Abd Al -Rahman (Arabic طه عبدالرحمن / Taha ʿ Abd -ar- Rahman, 1944) is a Moroccan philosopher and theologian. He is the President of the Wisdom Circle for Thinkers and Researchers ( منتدى الحكمة للمفكرين والباحثين / Wisdom forum for thinkers and researchers ), Morocco. He is director of Al- Umma Al- Wasat Magazine ( مجلة الأمة الوسط ) of the International Union of Muslim Scholars ( الاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين / al -Ittihad al - Alami li - Ulama al - Muslimin ).

He has been teaching for over 30 years, logic at the Mohammed V University. He has won the Moroccan Book Prize ( Moroccan Book Prize ) twice and was awarded the ISESCO Prize for Islamic philosophy in 2006.

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter A Common Word between Us and You (English A Common Word Between Us and You), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (English: " Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... " ) submitted (13 October 2007).
