Taifour Diané

Taifour Diane ( born 1 November 1972 in Kankan, Guinea ) is a football player and coach from Guinea.

Career

He played 18 caps for his country of birth Guinea and played in his youth at the club Horoya AC. Today, he owns also the German citizenship. With Bayer 04 Leverkusen, the only Bundesliga where he was previously employed, he reached the 7th place in the 1994/95 season. However, Diane graduated this season just a game. With the 1 FC Saarbrücken, he rose in 2007 from the Regionalliga Süd from the Oberliga West. 2007/ 08 he played in SV 07 Elversberg in the Regionalliga Süd. The following summer, he moved to the Oberliga West to Borussia Neunkirchen, where he ended his active career in early 2009.

In the 2009/10 season he coached the Saarland circle division Zelos St. Ingbert. Since June 2010 he has been hired as an assistant coach at third division FC 08 Homburg where he supervises also the district league team.

Nationwide gained fame Taifour Diane in his time at Alemannia Aachen. On 3 March 2000, he shot at the sold out Tivoli Aachen in the derby against Borussia Mönchengladbach bicycle kick it 1-0. This landmark goal against the rival was named in the ARD sports show on the goal of the month of March.

Since the season 2010/11, Diane is the co- coach of FC Homburg. In April 2011 he took over temporarily the post of head coach. From the second round in 2013, he strengthened the coaching staff of the women's team of the 1st FC Saarbrücken.
