Taihu stone

Taihu stones (Chinese太湖石, Pinyin Taihushi ) are bizarrely shaped rocks which, individually or in clusters adorn Chinese gardens.

They are composed of porous limestone that comes mostly from the western mountain - island in Taihu Lake. They have been for several years thrown into the sea and exposed to the water. In this way, foraminous, bizarre shapes emerged.
