Taishō-ku, Osaka

Taishō -ku (Japanese大 正 区) is one of 24 districts ( ku ) of Osaka, Japan.

History

The municipality was created in 1932 from parts of Minato- ku.

Traffic

The Taishō Osaka loop line train station and the metro in the Nagahori - Tsurumi Ryokuchi line located in the north of the borough. The rest of the area is covered by the urban bus transport company. Because the district is surrounded by rivers with few pedestrian bridges, the city has established ferry services.
