Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces

Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces is an Indian international hotel chain based in Mumbai, State of Maharashtra. Taj is a division of India's Tata Group.

The company's history began with the opening of the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel in Mumbai in 1903, which today is one of the Taj. Taj has 93 luxury hotels respectively upmarket resorts: 77 in India, 16 in foreign countries (Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Malaysia, Australia, Britain, the United States, the Middle East and Africa).

Since 2007, two business aircraft of the type Dassault Falcon Further facilities include a 2000 TajAir. Other business segments include TajSATS (catering for airlines with currently 26 customers) and Inditravel ( tour operator based in Mumbai, founded in 2002 ).

The loyalty program is called The Taj Inner Circle.
