Talaud flying fox

The Talaud Flying Fox ( Acerodon humilis ) is a fruit bat of the genus Acerodon, which is endemic to the Indonesian Talaud Islands. This species was discovered in 1897 and has long been known only by a few very old museum specimens until 1999, a living population was rediscovered. He is a small brown Acerodon style with round dots on the ears. The forearm length is 116-131 mm, the Tarsuslänge 53.5 to 59.5 millimeters, the ear length from 24 to 24.7 mm and the weight of 214-307 grams.
