Tama Janowitz
Tama Janowitz ( born April 12, 1957 in San Francisco) is an American writer.
Janowitz attended Barnard College and Columbia University School of the Arts and graduated in New York Andy Warhol 's circle at. In 1986 they released their short story collection Slaves of New York, who brought her literary breakthrough. Together with Jay McInerney and Bret Easton Ellis, it is one of the so-called literary Brat Pack. She now lives with her husband and daughter in Brooklyn, New York.
