Tando Allahyar
Tando Allahyar ( Urdu: ٹنڈو اللہ یار, Sindhi: ٽنڊو الهيار ) is a city in the Pakistani province of Sindh. It is the capital of the district Tando Allahyar.
In 2003, the city had a population of about 207,000. Statistics show that 30 % of the population consisting of immigrants who came from India in the development of Pakistan. The remaining 70% are indigenous Sindhi / Baluchi population.
The main language in Tando Allahyar is Sindhi, but also languages like Malwari or other Dravidian languages are spoken in the city.
Mangoes are the most popular products in this area. There are a wide range of mango varieties which are farmed here. Also, sugar cane, wheat, onions and cotton are grown in Tando Allahyar.
