The Tanggula Mountains ( Chinese:唐古拉山, Pinyin: Tánggǔlā Shān; officially also: Dang La, Tibetan in Wylie transliteration: gdangs la, also: Nyenchen Thanglha ( gNyan chen thang lha ) ) is a mountain range in the highlands of Tibet. It lies in the east of the Karakorum mountain system Tanggula喀喇昆仑-唐古拉山 系, where it marks the border between the Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai.
In Tanggula mountains of the Yangtze River, the longest and largest river in Asia rises.
