Tanit Jitnukul

Thanit Jitnukun (alternative spelling Tanit Jitnukul or Thanit Chitnukun; Thai: ธ นิตย์ จิต นุ กูล; * November 24, 1956 in the province of Songkhla, Thailand) is a Thai film director, screenwriter and producer.

Life and achievements

Thanit graduated from the Siam Vocational School and began his artistic career as a poster artist for movie posters. His film career began in 1985 as co-director of the feature film Suem Noi Noi Noi Mark Galon. The breakthrough and the international attention it he became known for impressive history productions of Thai history, as Bang Rajan - Fight of the lost, Kunpan and Sema - The Warrior of Ayodhaya.
