Tanizaki Prize

The Tanizaki - Jun'ichirô Prize (Japanese谷 崎 润 一郎 赏Tanizaki Jun'ichirô Shō ), is named after the Japanese writer Tanizaki Jun'ichirô. The award was founded in 1965 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the magazine from the publisher Chūōkōron Chūōkōron Shinsha. It is awarded annually for representative narrative prose or drama.
