Tanja Schärer
Tanja Schaerer ( born June 17, 1989 in streaks) is a Swiss freestyle skier. She specializes in the discipline Aerials ( jumping).
Biography
Schärer, which is of professional medical practice assistant, in her youth was gymnast and decided as a 13 -year-old for the freestyle ski jumping. The first missions in the European Cup they had in the winter of 2004 / 05, in the Junior World Championship 2007 in Airolo she was ninth. With three victories Schärer decided in the 2007/ 08 season, the Aerials - discipline rating of the European Cup for themselves. On 7 March 2008 she made her debut in the Freestyle FIS World Cup in Davos and it jumped to eleventh place.
Schärer established himself near the top of the world and achieved in winter 2009/10 the first time top- 10 finishes in the World Cup, which they qualified for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Your best result this winter was a fifth place, also in the following season 2010/11. With second place in Minsk she succeeded on 25 February 2012, the first World Cup podium.
