Tap o ' Noth is a Hill Fort on the Hill of Noth, west of Rhynie in Aberdeenshire in Scotland.

Located on the top of the 563 meter high hill, this fort is not only one of the highest, but also one of the oldest in Scotland. It consists of two circular walls, an outer wall, which encloses about 21 acres, and a solid inner wall, a rectangular citadel of 105 meters × forms on the top of the hill 40 meters. The inner wall was built with a framework of timber, which was destroyed by fire. The scientific dating of the molten rocks indicates that the fire at the beginning of the 2nd millennium BC, destroyed the buildings.

The excavation of the late 19th century revealed an eight-meter wide wall that was preserved to a height of 3.5 meters. Within the outer ramparts are more than 100 house plans. At the south end of the Citadel was a large cistern. Despite its location, this fort was at a time when the climate was warm and dry, the domicile of a large tribal group.
