Taraco

Geographical location

The Taraco Peninsula extends into Bolivia on the page in the smaller, southern part of Lake Titicaca, the Wiñaymarka. She runs striking from east to west into the lake. The peninsula is one of the counties ( municipios ) Taraco and Santa Rosa de Taraco the province Ingavi ( La Paz Department ). On it is also the place Taraco. Other villages on the peninsula are Santa Rosa de Taraco, Nachoca, Iguague, Opoqueri and Chivo.
