Taranpanth

Taranpanth is a small Indian community of faith. It was founded by the spiritual teacher Taran Taran Svami in Bundelkhand in 1505 and is among the Digambara Jains. During this time there were several reform movements in Jainism. The Taranpanthis originally came from six communities in the Nisai Ji built a center of worship in 1817. The number of members of the Taranpanthis is not occupied. It is estimated that there are around 10,000 members.
