Tarık Langat Akdağ

Tarık Langat Akdağ (birth name Patrick KIPKIRUI Langat, born June 16, 1988 Nandi, Kenya) is a Turkish obstacle - and long-distance runners of Kenyan origin.

On June 21, 2011, he received the Turkish nationality. The European Athletics Championships 2012 in Helsinki, he won silver over 3000 m steeplechase. He stood in the squad of the Turkish team for the Olympic Summer Games in 2012. In London he put the 3000 m steeplechase track in the Olympic final in 8:27,64 minutes back and finished ninth. The Enkaspor the Istanbul Sports Club athletes belonging is coached by Carol Santa.
